Job Description
- Manage and assign work to the members of the Construction Supervision Consultant team.
- Coordinate site activities to ensure smooth collaboration among all relevant parties.
- Inspect and supervise the Contractor's construction activities to ensure compliance with the approved design, technical standards, codes, and regulations.
- Review and approve the Contractor's submissions, including materials, equipment, construction methods, shop drawings, construction schedules, and other related documents.
- Regularly monitor construction progress and quality; remind and expedite the Contractor's work; issue Site Instructions and organize meetings with the Contractor when necessary in the event of delays or unsatisfactory construction quality.
- Organize and perform supervision activities; evaluate the Contractor's performance and recommend corrective actions and improvements to ensure project objectives are achieved in terms of quality, schedule, quantity, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection.
- Review and certify completed work quantities and variation works for the Contractor's interim payment applications.
- Conduct inspections and acceptance of completed work items, construction stages, and completed projects.
- Review and certify inspection and acceptance records, as well as as-built drawings submitted by the Contractor.
- Prepare periodic reports on project implementation and submit them to the Client and other relevant parties.
- Coordinate with all relevant parties to resolve issues arising during the construction process.
- Represent the Construction Supervision Consultant team at site meetings and coordination meetings.
Required Conditions
- Male, aged between 35 and 42, in good health.
- Bachelor's degree (full-time program) in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction supervision consulting for industrial projects, including experience serving as Chief Construction Supervision Engineer on at least two (02) projects.
- Holder of a valid Grade II Construction Supervision Practicing Certificate, valid until 2027 or later.
- Thorough understanding of construction procedures, regulations, technical standards, and applicable codes.
- Strong leadership, coordination, supervision, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Honest, objective, and highly responsible.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Project.
- Willing to work at project sites as assigned by the Company (current project location: Dong Nai Province).
- Good command of spoken and written English, including the ability to communicate effectively and prepare reports.
